Like many of us, I grew up bathing in post-hardcore. I must have listened to an Underoath album every day for a few years. It perfectly complimented the teenage experience and I think it'll always be with me in some sense ☺️. However, as I've gotten older I can see some of the... Less appealing elements to the genre. It can get just a tad whiney at times 😅.
This is a selection of bands who I think are carrying the torch of post-hardcore. It might not sound like it used to but that's a good thing, it means a whole new generation of moody teenagers have a chance to experience what I did.
