You open your eyes and it hits you. Yep, it's another one of those days 😪. You know there's nothing different about today but something feels wrong. It's there in the back of your head, hanging over you. You'll tell everyone you're fine and just a little tired then grit your teeth and make it through. But it's alright, you've felt like this before and you'll feel the same again. Not every day has to be good and sometimes it's almost refreshing to feel sad 🍃.
I look at bad days as a reminder that life is about being human, not just floating blissfully through it all. Melancholic hip-hop is a strange genre because it's really a celebration of being fucked up in all sorts of different ways.
There's really nothing wrong with being fucked up though 🤗.
