Sometimes I just don't have a good idea or a fresh sound that I'm interested in. I start wondering how on earth I'm going to stumble on something new. Sometimes I even deliberately go searching but nothing catches my interest. Then suddenly out of nowhere a random spotify radio entry, youtube recommendation or tweet comes along that blows it open. That's the story here, I saw one recommendation with some cool looking anime cover art and just explored everything related to it.
The result is hard to classify fully outside of the clear japanese influence. There's elements of 80s dance, hip hop and modern EDM scattered through these tracks but I personally feel they share a very pleasant and sparkly vibe. This is just a cute little playlist that compliments cooking, working or gaming for me. Hopefully you find something worth your time in it!
